The History of Egan's Ocean Fresh

In the beginning

Back in the 1920's my Great Grandmother Connie Egan had a number of shops facing the old Coombe hospital in Dublin's liberties one of which was a fish and game shop. When my great Grandmother died she left the shops too her two daughters and a son, Bridget (my grandmother) Alice her sister and Willie their brother. My Grandmothers end of the business was the fish which was passed on to my mother and then myself. fish runs deep in the veins of our family and with four generations of expertise combined with the expertise of our long serving staff we can make your purchase a worry free experience knowing the fish or shell fish you are purchasing is coming from experienced fish mongers.
